Robert Balmer

Robert Balmer was a well respected proud man, very loved by all his family, Daughters, Shirley-Ann, Marion and Susan. Son of Theresa Balmer and Hugh Balmer, brother of the late Hugh (died in infancy), Rose, and the late Cathy. Grandfather of Ashlie, Laura, Jamie, Katie and Scott, Estrella, Skyla and AngelinHeaven Robert "Rio", Great Grandfather of Lauren, Nathan and Conlyn-James. Ex-husband of Marion, our Mum. Partner of the late Irene Traynor, and step-Dad to Kerry.

Died very suddenly and missed every day, Dad you are in my thoughts every day, I have your picture to talk to but still to this day cannot believe you are gone, it still dawns on me to ask you something, only to realise that I cannot. Only in my thoughts can I speak to you.

You were the best Dad in the world and your morals, ideals and respect for others are instilled in those you've left behind.....You have made me what I am today Dad, I'm by no means perfect, but I'm stronger and have my pride and I always think of what the right road is now before I choose a path, all thanks to you....

There is so much to say Dad, so many wonderful memories and a few not so wonderful lol!!!!

I wish things were different Dad, but I won't dwell, you wouldn't have wanted that, you are now with Gran and Granda, and Auntie Cathy, and will no doubt be looking out for my wee Rio, named after you and his other Granda.
